Zahid Ali

Mr. Ali graduated from the University of Birmingham with an LL.B (Hons) degree and then went on to complete his Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School, with distinction, before being admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in December 2001.
 
Mr. Ali specialises in dealing with complex and high value commercial disputes in arbitration, litigation and mediation. He also has considerable experience in drafting and advising on commercial contracts.

Prior to joining EILF, Mr. Ali worked in-house as a Senior Solicitor for Severn Trent Plc, a FTSE 100 Company and one of the UK’s leading water and sewerage companies, where he advised the Company and Group Companies across a wide spectrum of legal, regulatory and commercial issues.

Mr. Ali’s professional career also includes working as an Assistant Solicitor for DLA Piper UK LLP, where he dealt with complex and technical litigation arising from disputes involving commercial contracts, professional negligence, product liability, insurance and material loss claims.
