Dr Habashneh is an Australian Jordanian dual national, with a Doctorate in Law and MBA from Australia. Dr Habashneh is an adjunct professor of law and an arbitrator and has knowledge of a broad array of law and legal disciplines. He is a legal counsellor with over 17 year experience in general commercial advice, contracts drafting, construction, financing, corporate, real-estate, infrastructure, asset management, insurance, mergers, civil service, work relations, and governance.
 
Prior to joining EILF Dr. Habashneh served as General Counsel and Head of Legal to Abu Dhabi Tawteen Counsel and later to the Department of Municipality in Abu Dhabi where he reviewed and drafted several laws and regulation on federal and local base including Mortgages, Strata and Community Title, Owners Association Constitution, Developer and Broker Trust Account, Regulation for the Law No. [2] of [2012] Concerning Preserving the General Appearance in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Building Codes. Dr. Anas also contributed in drafting and reviewing several federal laws in the UAE such Public Health Law, and Food Safety Law. Furthermore, Dr. Anas was involved in part of the New Municipal Operational System, and Municipal Assets Management tasks for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
 
During his work in Australia he was teaching both postgraduate and undergraduate law students including International Trade Law, Private International Law (Conflict of Laws), Intellectual Property Law, Commercial Law, Law of Contract, Property Transactions, and Corporate Law. He is admitted as arbitrator to the Abu Dhabi Conciliation and Arbitration centre ADCCAC where he was appointed in several cases including Corporate and Construction.
